Promethean Industries ("Promethean," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through prometheanind.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Who We Are
Promethean Industries is a business based in Redmond, Oregon, providing go-to-market strategy, retail and channel development, sales organization consulting, and manufacturer's representation services. Our contact details are in Section 15 below.
2. Information We Collect
a. Information you provide directly
Contact and inquiry information you submit through a "Contact Us," "Get Started," or similar form: name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, and the content of your message.
Information you provide when you book a call through our scheduling tool, HubSpot Meetings: name, email, phone number, company, and any details you enter about the purpose of the meeting.
Any information you send us by email, phone (including our direct line, 503.926.3640), or through social media.
b. Information collected automatically
Usage and device data such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring/exit pages, and the pages you view and how long you spend on them.
Information collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies, described in full in our Cookie Policy. If and when Promethean adds analytics or advertising tools to the Site, they will fall into the categories described there.
c. Information from third parties
If you book time with us through HubSpot Meetings, that provider processes your information under its own privacy policy in addition to ours. We may also receive information about you from business contacts, partners, or publicly available sources in the ordinary course of business development.
We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or health information through the Site.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
Respond to inquiries, schedule and conduct calls/meetings, and provide the consulting and representation services you request;
Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
Send you information you request, and — where you have not opted out — occasional business communications about our services, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act;
Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve its content and performance;
Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms and Conditions, and protect the rights, property, and safety of Promethean, our clients, and others.
We do not use the information we collect to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as our website host, HubSpot Meetings, and our email/CRM providers — each bound to use your information only to provide services to us;
Legal and safety reasons, such as to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Promethean, our users, or others;
Business transfers, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction;
With your direction or consent, such as when you ask us to connect you with a partner, buyer, distributor, or other party as part of our representation services.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Full details — including the categories of cookies used and how to control them — are set out in our separate Cookie Policy, which is incorporated into this Privacy Policy by reference.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide services, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required by applicable law.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights. Promethean intends to honor these rights for all visitors as a matter of good practice, whether or not a particular law technically applies to a business of our size.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request deletion of your personal information, to correct inaccurate personal information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Promethean does not sell personal information. You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.
Oregon residents (Oregon Consumer Privacy Act)
You have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, to access it, to correct it, to request deletion, to obtain a copy in a portable format, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or certain profiling.
Other U.S. states and international visitors
If you are located in another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, or in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that grants data-subject rights, we will honor equivalent rights available to you under applicable law.
How to exercise your rights
You may submit a request by emailing jake@prometheanind.com or calling 503.926.3640. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law.
9. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them differently than described in this Policy and our Cookie Policy.
10. Children's Privacy
The Site is directed to businesses and business professionals and is not intended for, or directed at, children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child in violation of this Policy, we will delete it.
11. Your Choices
You may decline to provide certain information, though this may limit your ability to use parts of the Site (e.g., booking a call).
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such email, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act.
You may control cookies through your browser settings and through the cookie preference tool on the Site, described in our Cookie Policy.
12. International Users
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

The Site may link to third-party websites, including HubSpot Meetings and the websites of partners, retailers, or distributors we represent. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page, and where required by law, we will provide additional notice.
